These terms cover joining the waitlist today and using no-dash when the Mac app ships. Sign up, and you accept them. They're short on purpose.
What you get
- A spot on the waitlist. We'll email you when the beta opens. Just once, unless you specifically ask for more.
- If you're in the first 200 founders, the locked-in price of $79/year for life, honored for as long as your subscription stays active.
- When the Mac app ships, a license to use it on your personal Mac(s) while your subscription is active.
What we ask
- Don't sign up with someone else's email. We email the address you give us; if it isn't yours, that's harassment of a third party and we'll remove it.
- Don't try to extract the waitlist, exploit the API, or otherwise abuse the service. We rate-limit and block obvious abuse.
- Don't resell, redistribute, or share your license key. One person, their personal Macs.
- Don't use the future Mac app to produce content that's illegal where you live or where the recipient lives.
Pricing
Joining the waitlist is free. Nothing is charged until the beta is on your Mac and you actively start a subscription. Founding rate is $79/year for life (first 200 founders), capped. Standard pricing after launch is $14/month or $99/year. We may run promotional discounts; we won't ever raise the price on a founding subscription that stays active.
Cancellation and refunds
You can cancel anytime. See our refund policy for the specifics. Short version: 14-day no-questions refund, prorated refund on annual plans within the first month of each renewal.
Beta software
The beta is beta. It will have bugs. It may eat your selection in some app we haven't tested yet. We don't guarantee uptime, accuracy, or that any specific feature will land in v1. We do guarantee that we'll tell you what we know.
Liability
no-dash is a writing tool. It rewrites text you give it. We're not liable for the consequences of what you ship. That's on you. To the maximum extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim related to no-dash is capped at what you've paid us in the 12 months before the claim.
Changes
Material changes to these terms get an email. Routine clarifications get a date bump. If you don't agree with a change, cancel and we'll refund the unused portion of your subscription.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, where no-dash is built. Disputes go to the courts in Mumbai. If you're a consumer somewhere with stronger local protections, those still apply to you.
